Not just another Porn Star

Finding Willow by Dawn Robertson

5 out of 5 stars

556 Book Chicks sings praises...
Awesome follow up to Hers! Although I wasn't a fan of Star's in the first book, that totally changed in Finding Willow. I thought Star was just a drugged up porn star, making excuses for always screwing Seven over. But reading her story changed my mind. She endured the brunt of their troubled childhood, and she was trying to find her future.

What I loved about this book...everything, yes every freaking thing. I loved how it filled in the missing pieces of what happened in Hers. I loved how Dawn Robertson incorporated the flash backs and shared the relationship between Star and Blue, and even their parents. Most importantly I loved how Star fought against her past to move on to her future - she was determined to be more.

'I choose freedom. Freedom from my demons. Freedom from his touch. Freedom from the prison of my own mind. I choose life. I choose redemption. I deserve a good life. I deserve love. I deserve happiness. I want it all.'

My favorite part - is also the hottest part...and it could be one of the hottest scenes in a book ever. Chrome is a sexy biker, who can't get his fill of Star. Star is looking for a quiet place to paint, but Chrome is looking for one more night with her. And who the hell can resist a sexy biker? "Don't move," he whispers, before leaning back, flipping the blade open, and slicing the crotch of my jeans. I'm not sure whether to be pissed he just ruined my jeans, or hot as fuck that he just cut them open so he can fuck me on his motorcycle in broad daylight.' I was sitting, kindle in hand and mouth wide open. Like that had to be the hottest thing I have read in a while. Did he just cut out the crotch of her jeans??? Bayyybeee that was HOOOTTTTT!!!! After that I wanted every sentence to be filled with nothing but Chrome!

Finding Willow is about redemption. You get to see Star finally tell off her parents, Seven's parents, and her sister. You get to see Blue finally get what he deserves (no way will I spoil that for you). And you get to see her search for her daughter Willow. It's a heartfelt story with great sex!
