Love conquers all...

The Boy Next Door by H. D'Agostino

4.5 out of 5 stars

556 Book Chicks fall in love:
Katie and Patrick have been friends and neighbors - nothing more. They both want more, but you know how it is when you're scared that a relationship will mess up your friendship. They were both stuck right in the middle, too scared to move forward. Until Matt takes his phone and gets their first date in motion. But they are both headed in different directions to college, is it too late for them to find love?

Patrick had gone through his closet and pulled out several of his old sweatshirts, some old hockey jerseys, some t-shirts, and even a pair of flannel pajama pants.

Katie reached in and put one of the t-shirts up to her nose and sniffed it, "It smells just like you."

"That's the point," he chuckled at the look on her face. "Whenever you get sad or lonely, just pick up something from this box and smell it. I'll be right there with you."

Maybe they can survive the long distance relationship after all!

We loved that we still got a chance to be a part of Melanie and Austin! And Austin was still doing sweet things for Melanie. Like when he planned the camp out at home for them. It was an Awwwweeeeeee moment! Where can we purchase an Austin?

Oh but we wanted to fight Patrick when we thought he was going out of town to see another girl. Like seriously you just left for college and you already cheating! Really Patrick? Really? Oh we were mad! And so was Katie, so she decided to drown her insecurities with a few shots of alcohol! Right on girl! Welllllllll we may have jumped the gun a bit on this one...see how it turns out by READING the book!

Remember in the first book, Unbreak Me, me were rooting for Zach to come back! Wellllll he made an appearance and we kind of changed our mind about him. Ugh! Like it was the wrong time for him to be back, and they way he treated Eden was crazy! We understand you never got over Katie, but you don't have to hurt Eden in the process.

Heather D'Agostino just does a great job of pulling us in with this story. We love how Katie stood her ground and never compromised what she believed in. It was freaking refreshing! We are looking forward to more of Hannah! For some reason she has always been the character we really wanted to know more about. You know how it is - the quiet girl in the corner commands attention. That is how Hannah is for us!
