556 Book Chicks has a new obsession for cowboys...
Holy Mutha of 5 stars!!!! All the stars belong to Mack aka Gavin Mackenzie and his cowboy hat. Everything that made this book great revolved around Mack. At first, I thought Andie was going to hook up with the groom-to-be, Ian. But when Andie spilled her drink on Mack, I knew things was about to get interesting. 'I was busy pounding away on his crotch, trying to soak up the alcohol, not really thinking about what I was doing, so wrapped up in my nightmare of a life.' Like I said things were about to get interesting...
Andie was not good enough for Mack...she got on my last damn nerve. I wanted to take her and that life plan and run them over with a truck. Every time she talked it was like blah blah blah! Oh hell, let's face it no woman is good enough for Mack. Mack is well...Mack is 'sexy. Handsome. Smart. Sexy. Magnetizing. Compelling. Muscles. Good family. Confident. Polite. Sexy.'
My absolutely favorite part...after two years - yes two years after crazy monkey sex, Andie finally ends up in Oregon in search of Mack. Mack is mad at her and Andie is mad at him. Mack has her waiting around to talk to him in the morning, but he catches her in the shower the night before. And this scene is better than bathroom sex - this is steamy, hot, crazy monkey bathroom sex. Mack could care less about Andie's life plan. And what woman doesn't want a man to just come in and blow up her world?!?!?!?!
Life doesn't always work out the way you plan...and this is that story. It's a story about finding your place in the world and loving it. It's about finding that one person, who makes your heart speak louder than your brain. And it has some of the best sex scenes with a HOT cowboy!
