556 Book Chicks wants to go behind the scenes with a band...
I don't know if I ever told you guys this...but I love Rock Star books! It's just something about a bad boy in tight pants. LOL! What? Don't Judge Me! Always Rayne has found it's way on my top Rocker Book List.
Harper Leigh hated their (Always Rayne) music and she wasn't infatuated by Rayne's handsome face or his panty dropping charm. All she wanted to do was read a good book or write an amazing article. So how the hell did she end up on tour with the band Always Rayne? Easy, go on tour or lose your job. Nic Rayne was determined for Harper to get to know the real him - not the musician. Raven (a friend of the guys) has to break it down for Harper, "Because you stimulate his little head and his big head. You're exactly what he's been looking for practically his whole life." Harper still didn't understand what Nic wanted with her...but she was about to find out.
My OMG Moment...was Harper is ready to hightail it off the tour, but Nic offers her money to stay. Of course there was a catch, she had to sleep with him for the rest of the tour. Oh get your mind out the gutter - Geesh he just wants to sleep. LOL! "I just want us to share the same bedroom. The same bed. To actually sleep. Nothing else. I won't even touch you...unless you ask." From that moment on, I was anticipating her caving and craving Nic Rayne.
This book is funny, it's serious, it has a lot of OMG moments. And the best part is there are two more books coming out in this series, and while they won't focus on Nic and Harper, I am sure we will get to catch up with them.
