556 Book Chicks almost didn't finish the book...
You know when you start a book and you are not sure what to expect...well that was me with Night Owl. I started it and was like this is not what I was expecting...in fact it's kind of weird. I don't think I am going to finish this book. And then I text that famous cousin of mine, and she's like keep reading, it's soooo good!

Needless to say I kept reading, and I am so happy that I did. Night Owl was different from any book I read. I will still say that I thought the cyber and phone sex was a little weird at first, but it was also HOT! But it had nothing on the scene when he took her to the strip club, 'The stripper straddled me and began to dance. She ignored Matt. She winked at me, ran her tongue along her lips, and brought her breasts close to my body as she ground her ass against my thighs. I realized with a jolt that I was getting wet. I wasn't into girls, not really, so what gave?' Please believe this book has some sex scenes that will put Christian Grey to shame.

Oh Lawd, I got caught up in the smoke and forgot to tell you how the fire started. LOL! So Matt and Hannah are working on a story together as an assignment in this creative writing class. Unbeknownst to Hannah, Matt is already a published author writing under the name M. Pierce. Matt needs his privacy and therefore no one but his publisher and a couple of close friends and family know exactly who he is...and they have all signed a NDA to protect his secret. Hannah and Matt start craving each other and Matt finds himself in a situation because he already has a girlfriend. But honey let me tell you, he forgot all about that annoying girlfriend once he got a taste of Hannah. But when the secrets and lies start to unravel you will be holding your breath.

My absolute LOL moment...when Hannah's sister Chrissy decides she is going to teach Hannah how to twerk. Bayyyybbbbeeeee I cannot even begin to explain how loud I was SCREAMING! This was so unexpected but it was oh so damn funny! 'First she demonstrated, her hands on her knees and her booty popping to the rhythm, then she arranged my arms and legs and started coaching me through the motions. It was surprisingly easy. Once I got the basics down, she showed me how to throw in body rolls and make my ass jiggle like Jell-O.' Say what now??? Lawd, this is still hilarious. Who would have thought I would get twerking instructions from a book - not me!

My awwweee moment...when Matt realized that he was really into Hannah. 'She gazed over her shoulder with half-lidded eyes and whispered my name. Why did I think I had any power over Hannah? I was hers.' Awwwweeee Matt that just melted my heart!

Matt had it bad for Hannah, she tore down walls that he had up for years. I just hate how his lies destroyed him and their relationship in the process. I also didn't like how Hannah didn't trust that he was trying to do the right thing by her. He really was trying to make it right but it backfired on him. She should have at least let him explain. Ugh!

You will not be disappointed with Night Owl. It starts off a little slow and a little weird, but when it takes off you will not be able to put it down. And the pure damn genius of the novel is...after I am finished reading it I am getting ready to tell someone else to read it, so I look at the cover to see who wrote...get this M.Pierce. So I think I am having a valley girl moment because Matt writes under M. Pierce and I shake my head and realize this Author is a freaking genius. And just like that the book takes on a whole new level to me.
